  27. And also the same horsepower?! Also a fast GFX card for my A1200?! ;-)
  28. The discussion is: AGA is slow and outdated (Yes, in some cases it is!)
  29. Then I come up with an example of a machine with more horsepower, more RAM
  30. a fast(?) GFX card, show that even my A1200 outperforms is (in more than
  31. *SOME* cases) and all I get is THIS lousy answer?!
  32. This is a *FACT* that I've *EXPERIENCED*! THAT'S what counts for me here!
  33. And no, "yeah, but....." There's no time for 'but', since time is money! 
  34. That PENTIUM machine with DRAM GFX card was updating it's sreens UTTERLY
  35. slow, even compared to an A500! Hell, we Amigans can choose a lower
  36. resolution with 4 or 8 colours to work in, if we think it's would become too
  37. slow. On that peecee you can't! Also a *FACT*. I have my WB in 8 colours.
  38. I need something to be shown in more than 8 colours?! My Amiga opens it's
  39. own screen for that app, if I want that! And switching screens on an Amiga
  40. goes UTTERLY FAST! Also a *FACT*. But since peecee users don't have these
  41. possibilities, I'll probably get an answer like "Who needs SCREENS anyway"

  45. (Btw the resolution was HIGHER on my Amiga (640*512) vs 640*480. The peecee
  46. was running in 24 bit mode, while my Amiga was running in only 3 bits)
